fading beauties

Mushrooms are wonderful creatures. I'm in the forest mainly because of the mushrooms. They are like fairies. Diverse, short-lived in their fruit, sometimes strange in shape, colorful. Today I went to Styria to find the last edible mushrooms of the season. There wasn't much left to pick. The temperature had dropped below zero too often. I only carried about two kilograms to the car. But I found dozens of different mushrooms that were just about to perish. I don't know what I want to write about right now. All I know is that mushrooms are wonderful creatures. I think they are one of the least researched creatures.
